We are in the heart of New Zealand wine country! It was so hard to choose a winery from the gigantic list of available options, but here we are at Forrest Estates. There is one Forrest sauvignon blanc available at the LCBO (it's not on the tasting list but we can try it when we're home!).

Hi Christine! Neil has a Suuntu watch that used to sync to Strava (but that broke with his upgrade to ios10) and I have a Garmin watch. Both of our watches have GPS; Neil's seems to be more accurate.
DeleteSpecifically an Ambit 3 and moves count app at the moment. I think I prefer the Strava tracings though. Hoping to import the data to Strava eventually

ReplyDeleteClassic snow-pea Sauvignon Blanc aroma, not OTT. Clear as a spring, pure fruit, without excess sweetness but quite rich on the palate. In this wine the residual sweetness really works, adding richness not a confected aftertaste. Good Value. Drink 2015-2016. Score - 16 out of 20. (Julia Harding, MW, jancisrobinson.com, Aug. 31, 2015)
Jancis Robinson, who is a Brit, has a group of Masters of Wines (MW) who give honest scores which are trust worthy. The designation of MW is very difficult to get.
It would be fun to try it
P.S.Forget about buying it in Ontario, there is only 1 bottle in Ottawa.
ReplyDeleteJust saw the comment on Neil's SUUNTO. His watch would need a software update, which is only possible via a laptop hardwired connection. Hope he has been able to track most of the rides. Would love to see the stats and routes on STRAVA eventually.
